How fitting to do an event as Marilyn at the Neon Museum. It’s a place where all of the Las Vegas billboards were sent when they were removed from service or saved from imploding landmarks. It is truly a visual memory of late Las Vegas. If you haven’t been to the Neon Museum I highly recommend it. Here is a link to a Google search on photos neon boneyard of the museum.
Although similarly spectacular, the billboards of today are not the same. They look amazing, because of that content which takes incredible marketing people to deliver, but in a different age these signs made Las Vegas shine. I have always been fascinated by the museum. It is truly remarkable just as our little town of Las Vegas is.
